Question:
Why must members sign in to the site?


Answer:
We have greatly enhanced the way that the MSOL website works. All of a member's personalization settings and profile information are now completely stored on our servers. Because of this, members must sign in to the site to identify themselves to the system.

The benefit of this is that members can now go to any computer with an Internet connection and sign in to the MSOL website and have all of the same settings and options they do from home. Also, members need not be dialed up though MSOL to have this same functionality available to them. Another benefit to signing into the site is that we can help members bypass some of the tediousness of having to re-login to several different areas (such as Correspond or the Datebook) by only prompting them for their password once per area.

TIP: If you would like the MSOL website to remember you every time you visit from the same computer, be sure to check the "Remember me" box when you login. The next time you visit the site again from the same computer, you will automatically be signed into the site and will need only your password to enter more secure areas such as Correspond, the Datebook and Member Services.
